ABOUT FCA
We all live busy lives and when older family members need extra time and companionship it can be difficult and stressful to try and find that time they need.
I started Family Care Assistance to support the whole family. I completed a Health Science degree in September 2022 which categorized the care I offer as HOLISTIC. This means I focus on Individual care which considers all aspects of what is import to the client and their family.
I offer the support and assurance to fulfil that need. I can be that friendly face who drops in for a chat. Helps with meal preparation, I can help order shopping online or be the person who is there to receive the delivery and put it away safely. I am always up for a shopping trip or a slow walk around the garden or local park. Family Care Assistance means helping out with the tasks that may have become too difficult to complete such as; meal preparation, changing the bedding, or light cleaning. Each client is different and after a full and complete initial discussion, I can provide the extra help, support and time that may be needed.
I am a mum. with two young adult children Matthew & Rachael. My husband and I moved to Dorset in 2004. Our children went to the local primary and secondary school. I had a long career in accounts and am AAT qualified (level 4). In 2016 I decided to change my career and work in care, later deciding to undertake a degree. I like being with my family and value my friends and their families. We like hosting BBQs, and eating al fresco, my family and I love the beautiful beaches we are so lucky to live near.
Family Care Assistance means my clients get treated with the same respect, value and courtesy I have for my family and friends. The service I provide will be as inclusive and as holistic as you want, including updates via emails or a phone call after each visit.
